Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: October 5, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") applies to every Organizer and every Authorized User who uses the business features of the services operated by MMJI CHILLZ, LLC as Linkstub ("Linkstub," "we," "us," or "our"), including dashboards, event pages, messaging tools, contact tools, integrations, and APIs (the "Services"). It forms part of the Terms of Engagement. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Policy have the meanings given in the Terms of Engagement.
In this Policy:
- "Organizer" means an organization or individual that uses the business features of the Services, and "Authorized User" means any individual whom an Organizer permits to access its account or organization, including team members, staff, promoters, and holders of access codes;
- "Buyer Data" means personal information about buyers and attendees that we make available to an Organizer, and "Contacts" means personal information that an Organizer provides to the Services or that the Services maintain for it as contact records;
- "Applicable Law" means all laws, regulations, and binding rules that apply to your activities; and
- "You" means the Organizer and each Authorized User.
Organizers are responsible for their Authorized Users' compliance with this Policy. The examples in this Policy are not exhaustive. We decide in our discretion whether conduct or content violates this Policy.
1. Prohibited Events and Offerings
You must not use the Services to list, promote, or sell any event, ticket, product, or service that:
- is illegal, or that you are not authorized to offer, including events requiring permits or licenses you do not hold;
- is fake, misleading, or that you do not intend or are not able to deliver, including tickets you do not hold or capacity that does not exist;
- involves the sale of alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, firearms, weapons, or other regulated goods, except as permitted by Applicable Law and with all required licenses and age restrictions;
- involves gambling, lotteries, sweepstakes, or contests, except as permitted by Applicable Law;
- involves sexually explicit services, the sexual exploitation of anyone, or any content involving minors in a sexual context;
- promotes violence, terrorism, or hatred, or discriminates against people based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, or any other characteristic protected by Applicable Law, except as Applicable Law expressly permits;
- involves pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing recruitment, get-rich-quick schemes, or misleading fundraising;
- infringes or misappropriates intellectual property, publicity, privacy, or other rights;
- is a business or activity that our Payment Processors restrict or prohibit, including those listed in the Stripe Restricted Businesses list, unless we and the Payment Processor have approved it in writing; or
- puts the health or safety of attendees or others at unreasonable risk.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You must not use the Services to:
- post or send content that is unlawful, false, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or invasive of privacy;
- misrepresent prices, fees, availability, demand, lineups, or other material facts, or omit information that Applicable Law requires you to disclose;
- impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization, including Linkstub;
- engage in fraud, money laundering, or terrorist financing, or process transactions that do not reflect a genuine sale for a genuine event;
- split, disguise, or structure transactions to evade limits, reviews, or fees, or process payments for another business without our approval;
- encourage Buyers to pay or complete purchases outside the Services in order to avoid Fees, after they reached you through the Services, except as an Order Form permits;
- use bots, scripts, or other automated means to buy tickets, inflate sales or attendance, manipulate rankings or reports, or access the Services, except through APIs we provide for that purpose;
- use the Services if you, your owners, or your Authorized Users are the subject of U.S. sanctions or are located in a country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions; or
- assist or encourage anyone else to do any of the above.
3. Messaging Policy
This Section applies to every email, text message, and other message you send using the Services, and to every sender identity you use. You are the sender of your messages and are solely responsible for them.
3.1 Consent
You must obtain and document all consent required by Applicable Law and carrier rules before sending any message, including prior express written consent before sending marketing text messages where required. Consent must be specific to you as the sender and must not be a condition of purchase. You must not send messages to anyone whose consent you cannot prove.
3.2 Lists
You must not send messages to purchased, rented, borrowed, shared, scraped, or appended lists, or to contacts obtained from third parties, unless each recipient gave consent that covers your messages. You must not use contacts that another organizer provided to you, or that you obtained through a co-hosted or shared event, unless you independently have the required consent.
3.3 Sender Identification
Every message must clearly identify you, or the brand on whose behalf you send, as the sender. Marketing email must include a valid physical postal address and any other information that the CAN-SPAM Act requires. You must not use false or misleading header information, sender names, or subject lines.
3.4 Opt-Out
Every marketing message must include a clear way to opt out, and text messages must honor standard opt-out keywords such as STOP. You must honor opt-out requests promptly and within the time required by Applicable Law, including requests received outside the Services, and must not send further marketing messages to anyone who has opted out unless they opt in again in a manner Applicable Law permits. You must respond to HELP requests and provide customer care contact information as carrier rules require.
3.5 Timing and Frequency
You must comply with the time-of-day restrictions of Applicable Law, including federal and state restrictions on telephone solicitations by text message (for example, before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. in the recipient's local time under federal rules, and any stricter state rules), and with any frequency limits that you disclosed to recipients when they opted in.
3.6 Prohibited Message Content
You must not send messages that contain or promote:
- content relating to sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco, cannabis, or other restricted categories, except to the extent carrier rules permit it, any required age-gating is in place, and we have not restricted it;
- high-risk financial services, debt collection or relief, loans, cryptocurrency offerings, gambling, or other content that carriers or messaging providers prohibit or restrict;
- phishing, malware, deceptive links, or link shorteners that hide the destination, other than link features the Services provide;
- content that is false, misleading, or harassing, or that violates any law or third-party rights; or
- content unrelated to the use case you registered or described to us for the sender identity you use.
3.7 Platform Sending Identities
Where we make available phone numbers, short codes, sender names, email domains, or other sending identities that we control, you may use them only for messages about your Events and organization that are consistent with this Policy and with the use cases registered for them, and only while we make them available to you. You must not use a Platform Sending Identity in a way that suggests that Linkstub, rather than you, is the sender or endorses your message. We may require that you use your own sending identity for some or all messages.
3.8 Carrier and Provider Rules
You must comply with the rules of wireless carriers, the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, the requirements of email and messaging providers, and any registration requirements, and you must provide accurate information for any registration we submit for you.
4. Data Use Rules
You must:
- use Buyer Data, attendee information, and Contacts only in connection with your relationship with the relevant individuals, such as your Events and organization, and only for lawful purposes disclosed in your privacy notice;
- not sell, rent, or disclose Buyer Data to third parties except as Applicable Law and your privacy notice permit;
- not scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise collect data from the Services by automated means, except through APIs we provide for that purpose;
- not use the Services or any data obtained through them to build or enrich a competing product or a database for resale;
- not attempt to re-identify de-identified or aggregated data;
- not collect through the Services, or upload to the Services, sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, financial account numbers, health information, or precise geolocation) or information about children under 13, unless the Services expressly support it and Applicable Law permits it;
- not use any data obtained through the Services to discriminate unlawfully, or to make decisions about eligibility for credit, employment, insurance, or housing; and
- limit access to Buyer Data and Contacts to Authorized Users who need it, and remove access when it is no longer needed.
5. Promoters and Endorsements
If you or your promoters, ambassadors, or other collaborators promote Events, you must comply with the FTC's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 C.F.R. Part 255) and similar laws, including by clearly and conspicuously disclosing any material connection, such as payment, free tickets, or commissions. You must not post fake reviews or testimonials, or buy, sell, or incentivize reviews in violation of Applicable Law. Organizers are responsible for their promoters' and collaborators' compliance with this Section.
6. Security
You must not:
- share credentials or access codes with anyone who is not an Authorized User, or use another person's account without authorization;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or breach or circumvent any security, authentication, rate limiting, or bot-protection measure;
- access or attempt to access data or accounts you are not authorized to access;
- upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- interfere with or disrupt the Services, or impose an unreasonable load on them; or
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Services, except as Applicable Law expressly permits.
You must promptly report to us any suspected security vulnerability or unauthorized access to your account.
7. Enforcement
7.1 Our Actions
If we believe that you, an Authorized User, or an Event violates or may violate this Policy, the Terms of Engagement, or Applicable Law, or creates risk for Buyers, us, or others, we may, without liability and with or without notice, in each case to the extent Applicable Law permits, take any action we consider appropriate, including to:
- remove, edit, or disable content or Events;
- block, pause, delay, or cancel messages or campaigns, or suspend Credits or sending identities;
- suspend or cancel ticket sales, issue refunds, or hold Proceeds and payouts as described in the Terms of Engagement;
- suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, organizations, Integrations, or access to any feature;
- report suspected violations to carriers, Payment Processors, law enforcement, regulators, or other appropriate parties, and cooperate with their investigations, including by disclosing information; and
- take legal action.
We are not obligated to monitor the Services or to take any action, and our failure to act does not waive our rights.
7.2 Your Cooperation
You must cooperate with any investigation and provide information we request, including records of consent.
7.3 Reporting Violations
You may report suspected violations of this Policy to support@linkstub.com.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time as described in the Terms of Engagement. Your continued use of the business features of the Services after an update takes effect means you accept it.
