We work with advertising partners, including Google, that receive information about your use of our Services, such as cookie identifiers and the pages you view, and use it to measure and personalize ads, as described in Section 13.3. 3.9 Affiliates and Other Services We Operate
We may share information with our affiliates. We operate Linkstub and other online services on shared technical systems, with shared staff. 4. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
4.1 Access and Portability
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, or a copy of it, by contacting us at support@linkstub.com.
4.2 Correction
You can update some of your information, such as your name and phone number, in your profile settings. To request other corrections, contact us at support@linkstub.com. Because some profile information is obtained from third-party sources, it may be inaccurate. If a social handle or profile shown for you is wrong or not yours, you may ask us to correct or remove it.
4.3 Deletion
You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@linkstub.com. We may retain information we need for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute, or security purposes. Information that has already been provided to an event organizer is also held by that organizer, and you may need to contact the organizer directly about its copy.
4.4 Restriction and Objection
You may have the right to restrict or object to our processing of your personal information under certain circumstances. Contact us at support@linkstub.com to submit such requests.
4.5 Marketing Communications
You can opt out of marketing communications:
- By clicking the "unsubscribe" link in an email from the sender
- By replying "STOP" to a text message from the sender
- By contacting us at support@linkstub.com
Opting out of messages from one sender may not stop messages from other senders, including event organizers. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, you may still receive messages about your ticket purchases, registrations, and account.
4.6 Cookie Preferences
You can choose whether to allow optional analytics and advertising technologies using Privacy choices, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals, as described in Section 13.4. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings (see Section 13.5).
4.7 Data Protection Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@linkstub.com.
4.8 Attendee Display and Guest-List Opt-Out
You may ask us not to display your profile photo, first name, or social handle in attendee displays or guest lists by updating your profile settings, where available, or by contacting us at support@linkstub.com.
4.9 How to Make a Request
Send requests to support@linkstub.com and tell us what you are asking for. Before acting on a request to access, correct, or delete personal information, we may verify your identity, for example by confirming that you control the email address associated with your account or order, and we may ask for additional information where needed. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf where the law allows; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and ask you to verify your identity directly. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
5. DATA RETENTION
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements. How long we keep information depends on the type of information and why we have it:
- Account and Profile Information: Kept while your account exists, and afterward as needed for the purposes above.
- Order and Transaction Information: Kept as business records, including after an event has taken place, for as long as needed for tax, accounting, dispute, and legal purposes.
- Communications and Opt-Out Records: Kept as needed to respond to you, to honor your choices, and for the purposes above.
- Usage, Analytics, and Error Monitoring Data: Kept according to the retention settings of our systems and of our service providers.
When we determine that we no longer need personal information, we may delete it, de-identify it, or restrict it from further use. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information. Information held by an event organizer is kept according to its own practices.
6. DATA SECURITY
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for keeping the email account you use to sign in secure, and you should contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
7. INTERNATIONAL USERS
Linkstub is based in the United States, and the Services are intended for use in the United States. We, our affiliates, and our service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and those other countries.
8. RELATIONSHIP WITH EVENT ORGANIZERS
8.1 Information Collected Through Checkout and Event Registration
When you purchase tickets or register for events through the Services, both Linkstub and the event organizer receive your information. Linkstub and the event organizer each handle that information independently: we use it as described in this Policy, and the organizer uses it under its own privacy practices.
8.2 Information We Process for Event Organizers
When an event organizer uploads or imports contact information, maintains contact records using the Services, sends messages using our messaging tools, sends purchase reports to its own advertising accounts, or syncs information from third-party services it connects, we process that information on the organizer's behalf and according to its instructions, and the organizer's privacy practices govern its use of that information. We may also use that information as permitted by law and our agreements with organizers, such as to operate, secure, and improve the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, create de-identified or aggregated information, and maintain records of opt-out requests across the Services.
8.3 Information Sharing
Event organizers may receive the following information when you purchase tickets or register for their events:
- Your name and contact information
- Ticket purchase details and preferences
- Responses to any checkout questions created by the organizer
- Check-in status and attendance data
- Related profile information, such as social media information associated with you
8.4 Organizer Marketing
Event organizers may send you marketing communications under their own practices and are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to their messages. You can opt out of marketing communications from an event organizer by following the unsubscribe or opt-out instructions in its messages or by contacting the organizer directly.
8.5 Organizer Privacy Practices
Event organizers are responsible for their own compliance with applicable data protection laws, and we do not control their practices. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of each event organizer before purchasing tickets.
9. COMMUNICATION SERVICES
9.1 SMS Communications
If you agree to receive text messages from Linkstub or event organizers, the following applies:
- Message Content: Text messages may include transaction confirmations, event updates, check-in information, marketing messages, and other notifications.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies.
- Carrier Charges: Message and data rates may apply, as determined by your mobile carrier.
- Opt-Out Instructions: To stop text messages from a sender, reply "STOP" to a message from that sender.
- Mobile Information: Mobile phone numbers collected through a text messaging opt-in, and text messaging opt-in data and consent, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except service providers that help deliver messages. This item does not limit the use and sharing of contact details you provide when you buy or register for a ticket, as described in Sections 3.1, 3.9, 8.3, 13.3, and 13.4.
Our Terms of Service describe who sends messages in connection with the Services and the terms that apply to text messages.

You can opt out of marketing emails from a sender by clicking the unsubscribe link in a marketing email from that sender.
10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. As provided in our Terms of Service, you must be at least 13 years old to create an account or to purchase or register for a ticket, and users under 18 need the consent of a parent or legal guardian. A child under 13 may attend an event using a ticket obtained by a parent or legal guardian, subject to the event organizer's rules.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in a manner that requires parental consent under applicable law, we will take steps to delete it as required by law. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@linkstub.com.
11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Services, or applicable laws. We will post the updated Policy with a new "Last Updated" date and provide any additional notice, or obtain any consent, required by law.

13. COOKIE POLICY
13.1 What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies help provide functionality, remember your preferences, and provide us with information about how you use our Services.
13.2 Types of Cookies
We and our partners may use the following types of cookies:
- Essential Cookies: Necessary for the operation of our Services, such as session management, security features, and shopping cart functionality.
- Functional Cookies: Enable enhanced functionality such as remembering preferences and settings.
- Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors use our Services, which pages are most popular, and how users navigate through the platform, such as Google Analytics cookies.
- Marketing Cookies: Used to deliver relevant advertisements and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, such as Google advertising cookies.
- Social Media Cookies: May enable integration with social media platforms, for example when you choose to share content.
13.3 Google Analytics and Google Ads
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use the Services. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you view, the page that referred you, the campaign or ad that brought you to the Services, information about your browser and device, your approximate location, and actions you take on the Services, such as starting a checkout, submitting a form, or completing a purchase. You can control whether Google Analytics runs using Privacy choices (Section 13.4). Google's use of this information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
We also use Google Ads, and we may link Google Analytics to it and use Google Analytics Advertising Features, including remarketing and demographics and interests reporting. This lets us measure how our ads perform and show our ads to people who have visited the Services, on Google services and on other websites and apps. Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on sites across the internet and use cookies and similar identifiers to show ads based on your past visits to the Services and to other websites. We and these vendors use first-party cookies, such as the Google Analytics cookie, together with third-party cookies, such as Google advertising cookies, to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your past visits, and to measure how our ads perform. If you are signed in to a Google Account, Google may also associate this information with your account, depending on your Google Account settings. We may also share hashed contact information, such as your email address or phone number, with advertising partners such as Google to measure and improve our ads.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by turning off Advertising in Privacy choices (Section 13.4), in Google's Ads Settings, or on the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page, and you can stop Google Analytics from collecting information about your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
13.4 Your Privacy Choices
You can choose whether to allow optional analytics and advertising technologies using Privacy choices, which you can open from the footer of our pages and from your profile settings. Technologies that are necessary for the Services, such as those used for signing in, payments, security, and keeping the Services working, are not covered by these choices.
- Analytics includes Google Analytics, our product analytics, and session recordings.
- Advertising includes Google's advertising features described in Section 13.3, our marketing tools, and advertising tags that event organizers add to their pages, including purchase reports, which may include hashed contact details, that we send to advertising partners on their behalf.
Depending on where you are, optional technologies may be off until you turn them on, or on until you turn them off. Your choices apply to the browser and website in which you make them. Turning a category off does not affect information collected before you did so, or information we process for other purposes described in this Policy, such as contact details we share with our customer relationship management provider.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising for that browser.
13.5 Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- Delete existing cookies
- Block cookies from being set
- Configure notifications for when cookies are being set
- Use private browsing modes, which generally clear cookies when the private session ends
Please note that blocking or deleting certain cookies may impact the functionality of our Services. Our Services do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, which are different from Global Privacy Control signals.
